Zoomcar is india’s largest self-drive car rental service. It allows customers to rent cars from the Zoomcar app. Zoomcar recently launched ZAP which allows car-owners to list their cars for rental so as to avoid letting the cars sit idly by, and to help pay off loans and maintenance. The Brand wanted an Explainer video about how ZAP works and helps an individual save their EMI and other car related costs by upto 70%.

The animated video we created aimed to help people understand why renting their cars through Zoomcar was beneficial for them. Approach towards the video was very straight forward. To state the problem and to give them a solution. Problem statement was just 1 from the beginning i.e., why should you spend so much on EMI costs of the car when your car can help you earn the same.

Approach

The ZAP man is here!

We created an identity, the ZAP man who is like the superhero who is here to help you save your costs. ZAP team was also developing a Live-3D video as a commercial video for the promotions. We tried resembling the ZAP man character similar to the real character so that there would be a uniformity in videos and people would be able to recollect the character.

The video was promoted and the views went over 60-70k times and helped the brand push the ZAP service in the market.
