Google Core Update December 2020 : Rolling Out Nowhttps://moshimoshi.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Google-Algo-Update-2020-December-1024x576.png.webp1024576Moshi MoshiMoshi Moshihttps://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/ac4c132f340a1c08106672a42225886f?s=96&d=mm&r=g
Every day, Google normally releases at least one change intended to improve our search results. Most aren’t noticeable but help us gradually keep on improving.
Several times a year, Google makes broad changes to the search algorithms and frameworks. Which is referred to as “core updates”. They’re intended to guarantee the delivery of relevant and authoritative content to searchers.
What is a Google core update?
A Google core update happens when Google makes critical and broad changes to its search engine algorithm and systems. These updates are intended to improve the search experience for users, providing more relevant, useful, and reliable content.
How often do Google core updates happen?
Generally, core Google Search updates happen several times a year, usually every few months. Google will in general announce the updates a couple of days prior to or the day of, though some updates can take several days to roll out for users.
Google December 2020 Core Update–
Google confirmed an algorithm update: December 2020 Core Update which has rolled out recently on December 3, 2020.
This most recent update came as a last-minute surprise. Google revealed the update by tweeting and that it was to be rolling out the same day. This is the 3rd core update of 2020 after the May 2020 core update.
Google generally releases a core Google algorithm update every few months or so. Just about 7 months back Google announced the May 2020 core update, which took place on May 4, 2020. So this December 2020 Core Update took much more than past updates to roll out.
Google Announces: Later today, we are releasing a broad core algorithm update, as we do several times per year. It is called the December 2020 Core Update. Our guidance about such updates remains as we’ve covered before.
Google said “the December 2020 Core Update is now rolling out live. As is typical with these updates, it will typically take about one to two weeks to fully roll out.”
Previous core updates: The most recent previous core update was the May 2020 core update, It was big and broad and took a couple of weeks to completely roll out. Before that was the January 2020 core update. The one before that was the September 2019 center update. That update felt vulnerable to many SEOs and website admins, as many said it didn’t have as big of an impact as previous core updates. Google likewise delivered an update in November, but that one was specific to local rankings.
What to do if you are hit?
Google has offered guidance on what to consider if you are negatively impacted by a core update in the past. There aren’t any specific actions to take to recover. However, Google has offered a list of inquiries to consider if your site is hit by a core update. Google did say you can see a bit of recovery between core updates but the biggest change you would see would be after another core update.
The best advice to beat core updates?
Keep focusing on : Quality content, User intent, Clean architecture, Google’s guidelines.
And do not stop improving your site once you reach the position because the site on 2nd Position isn’t going to stop.

The time for every marketer to look for online opportunities and pay a closer look into the world of digital marketing is now. In modern times, marketers need to be nimble and adaptive as well as truly flexible to be able to attain a top spot in the red ocean.
Digital Marketing in 2021- What’s Coming Ahead
Before we embark on the ideas and strategies that will talk about the changes in digital marketing in future, let us tell you that it’s not all thorns and the future of digital marketing in 2021 and coming years is very bright and blooming. Here are some of the most evolving and ruling digital marketing trends for the upcoming times.
1. Core Updates and EAT
The most recent case studies on digital marketing in the future have revealed that the quality of the content you post is the basis of where you belong on Google search. The websites following the EAT ( Expertise, Authority and Trust signals) algorithm, will always find space on the front pages of a Google search.
This is because as the number of people on the internet is rising, the chances of fake and unreliable information are rising simultaneously. Keeping such threats in mind, Google has designed strict algorithms to filter quality content from repetitive information. So invest in quality and authentic content if you wish to hit the top charts
2. An Ode To Social Media
Every progressive thinker should be ready to invest their time and money in the world of social media marketing. With platforms like Instagram, Facebook, etc becoming mightier every year, social media has become unbelievably resourceful and promising in bringing new business. According to a study, social media comprises around 24% of the overall marketing budget of the US in the second half of 2020, which was 13% last year.
Since a majority of people spent a considerable amount of their time on social media during the pandemic, it has become a place where marketers and brands can easily connect and reconnect with their customers. Therefore, investing in a good social media plan that includes quality and catchy photos, videos, Q&A, etc is what many business houses are looking forward to in the coming times.
3. Incorporating Voice Search
A study conducted by Hubspot found out that around 39% of people have used voice search as a medium of internet surfing. However, 45% of the study group were unaware of what a voice search is. Predictions and research have proved that voice search based surfing on Google shows different results compared to the results shown when you normally type and search.
This means that there is a hidden potential in voice searching to become the next best friend of websites looking to achieve a first-page display on Google. Content designing and optimizing is different for voice searches.
It is more crisp and conversational so that it can easily get captured by a voice detector. Therefore, the clearer your words, the more will be your traffic. More and more people are shifting to this medium as it is becoming capable of accurate syncing with each passing day.
4. Evolutionary Content Marketing
With the Google EAT algorithm being implemented, bids are on every content that holds the potential to be authentic, interactive and fresh at the same time. Research has shown that interactive content that has the potential to grab eyeballs has been a major missing in the world of digital marketing in previous years. Around 43% of the content was simply project-based, 30% of the content was based on persona and only 12% of the content was journey focussed.
The new trends demand a greater focus on persona and journey- based content.
Interactive elements in the content can boost up interest as well as draw more traffic by increasing visibility. Ideas like quizzes, games, surveys, contests, etc are some of the greatest options when it comes to the trends of digital marketing in 2021. The contest is considered one of the most involving techniques of social media marketing.
5. Influencer Marketing- A Revolution
It has been several years since the concept of influencer marketing was introduced and it has proved to be a huge hit since inception. The rise of social media marketing has made influencer marketing even more effective and in demand.
Having said that makes it clear that influencer marketing is here to stay and will be a trending domain of digital marketing in future. Influencer marketing is very effective in grabbing the audience’s attention to your products and services.
Bonus- A recent guideline published in Business Insider found that people liking sponsored posts on Instagram has gone up by 76% during the COVID-19 crisis.
People highly believe in their favorite celebrity’s recommendations and tend to copy the same as a sign of their loyalty. These influencers have seamlessly become a brand of their own and are a great source of marketing.
Previous studies have concluded that by 2020 brands are estimated to spend around 25% of their marketing budget on influencers, which means they will be investing $10 billion of their budget just on influencers to promote their brand identity. Interesting!
6. Your Best Buddies- PPC & RSA
PPC (Pay Per Click) has been in the world of digital marketing for a while now and will keep ruling the world of digital marketing in 2021 as well. What makes PPC so special is its AI-based functioning that rightly detects how eager someone is to buy a product and shoots ads right in front of their eyes every time they open a search engine or a web page.
Modern PPC technology is completely automated and thus surely saves marketers a huge chunk of their time spent on campaigns.
RSAs (Responsive Search Ads) have now become Google’s default option and are highly being used in place of PPC. Unlike older PPC ads, RSAs are purely based on Google AI. Therefore, most of your work is done by the AI. Your only work is to feed it with different content with well-defined headlines and leave the rest on Google.
Bonus- Go ahead by feeding 8-10 headlines, 2-3 titles with keywords and 1 brand title for successful RSA results.
7. Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO)
These days conversions might have become one of your daily encounters if you frequently visit links that pop up on social media. The basic principle that conversions run on is- bringing people to websites and turning those visits into revenue as an outcome.
Conversions are the forms that some sites ask you to fill before they take you further. For example, asking you to fill a small form before downloading an Ebook. These websites collect this data and calculate the total number of people who reached their desired goal: how many people visited your site and what did they do once they filled the form.
Prioritize personalization when it comes to CRO. Results say that 80% of people end up buying when their user experience is personalized.
This personalization can be based on the demographics of the users, matching their psychology and gaining their interests. The impact of such conversions with refined and personalized results can be significant in coming times
8. Video and Live Video Marketing
The psychological impact of videos on viewers has been unbeatable and continues to grow. More than 50% of people watch videos on Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat every month. The numbers are going wild with every research.
A study by Grabyo states that more than 75% of people in the US use social media to watch videos daily. But regardless, YouTube continues to be the most visited video platform.
Do you know?- YouTube is the world’s second-largest search engine. It has 60 billion users from the US who watch videos daily. (Statista)
With the world focusing on more easy and understandable results, video results have also become a major part of SERP (Search Engine Result Pages). Since more and more search comes based on the recent readings and latest creations, marketers can increase their ranking by posting fresh content religiously, in small intervals.
Similarly, the world of Live video is taking a splurge as things are becoming online and are here to stay at least for the coming year. Things are shifting to the virtual world and so should you.
Summing Up
Digital marketing in 2021 will be all about people. Omnichannel marketing is also going to spread more in the market. The more valued you make your customer feel, the better the results will be.
Doesn’t that sound like how you feel when you are in a romantic relationship? Well, the brand-customer relationship is no less. After all, we are keeping the customers on a pedestal and making them the center of all our thoughts!
People are more likely to continue shopping and surfing online. So your investment in all the ads, videos, content, SEO, SMM, etc is never going to be a bad idea even when this phase of calamity is over. There are various advertising agencies that provide digital marketing services, you can also take help from them.
The above strategies and many more trends will become a part of the family of digital marketing in the future. There is no question on the fact that COVID-19 has rattled the situation and people are still wondering clueless but surely things will take a turn.
Search Engine Marketing Statistics You Need to Know in 2021https://moshimoshi.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/SEM-1024x576.png.webp1024576Moshi MoshiMoshi Moshihttps://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/ac4c132f340a1c08106672a42225886f?s=96&d=mm&r=g
When you think of SEM, you probably relate it to SEO. Search engine optimization or SEO is optimizing keywords to get traffic on a website, a form of unpaid marketing, whereas search engine marketing or SEM is the action taken to market a business using paid advertisements that appear on search engine results pages or SERPs. Clearly, SEM is the most important tool in online marketing and growing yourself or your business online. Thus, here are some search engine marketing statistics 2020 to kick-start 2021.
What Is SEM?
In SEM, advertisers bid on keywords that users of Google or other search engines might use while searching for a product or service, which additionally allows promoting products and services alongside those search results. These ads, often known by the term PPC or pay-per-click ads, are available in various formats. Few of them are short, text-based ads whereas the rest of them, such as product listing ads (Shopping advertisements), are more visual, product-based advertisements with added information such as price & reviews.
Therefore, SEM matters because it is the fastest way to get new consumers for your business, online. 2020 marketing statistics also suggest that search engine marketing is the greatest marketing tool to reach the potential and motivated consumers, who’re looking for such products and with SEM, they will definitely be interested in purchasing your services or products.
Especially for small businesses, SEM is the best way to promote and reach newer consumers. These are the main reasons to adapt to SEM:
It generates brand awareness on search engines
It generates revenue more quickly
It moulds as per your budget and grows as you grow
It takes your business to the right people
It’s pocket-friendly as per your budget
Google
According to the data, Google is the most used search engine worldwide in 2020. Google’s market share has remained the highest all around the globe for the longest time.
As per Statcounter’s website, Google has 92.16% worldwide market share among all the search engines as of November 2020. Alone in India, it’s market share remained at 98.74%. This clears out the importance of a search engine in today’s digital age and it should be mandatory to have a search engine marketing strategy to reach the maximum number of people.
While wrapping up the year, Google released a video sharing the most frequent word that appeared in this year’s search – ‘Why’ & showcased how a question can be answered in many ways through this thought-provoking concept.
SEM As A Continuous Growing Industry
2020 SEM trends show how much potential this industry has for marketing, brand awareness, and campaigns. From link building to paid ads, Google search services have proved beneficial for both, the businesses and Google itself.
Every business, especially after the greatest impact on the global economy in 2020, is now either thriving online or trying to survive through it. Most businesses allocate more than 40% of their budget for search engine marketing. Google’s annual revenue in the last decade has seen a significant rise of 10-15% every year!
With new services and businesses introducing themselves every day, it is no doubt that the best way they can reach the maximum number of potential consumers is through search engine marketing!
Mobile Search & Location Based Marketing
At the start of the year, it was reported that there were 3.5 billion users worldwide using smartphones This number is expected to increase by 3.8 billion by 2021. It is obvious that most of the searches are happening through mobile phones.
With the increasing number of mobile phone users, smart businesses are configuring their websites to more mobile-friendly functioning. It has been noted that before trusting any business, users search about them online to see their reliability and value. Even after entering the stores, about 40% of the consumers are on their phones looking at the brand’s website before buying a product or a service.
Mobile search is most likely to beat desktop searches by the end of 2021. This is the reason most businesses rely on mobile search for search engine marketing.
The consumers are most likely to search for the closest businesses. ‘Stores Near Me’ is one of the most searched phrases on Google. Hence, local businesses should keep their SEM updated and create brand awareness in the nearby areas. As with Google Analytics and paid ads, you can target nearby customers and with more options available, it is likely for your business to achieve speedy growth naturally.
Keywords & User Experience
The keyword is the tool that fuels the search engine. Mostly 3 words are used in a normal search mostly on mobile phones, however, desktop searches have 6 words or more. Every business and brand should be aware of the latest stats and keyword trends to keep themselves up on the SERPs.
It is also found that the consumers between the age group 18-34 years trust the better reviewed and frequently shown businesses on SERPs by 91% more, than the ones without reviews or inconsistent SERP outcomes. Therefore, it is advisable for the businesses to stay up-to-date with the SEM strategies and thrive more.
Functional Traditional Marketing Strategies
Online marketing is an ever-changing industry. Every day, there are new trends coming in and marketers often follow the same. However, there are some traditional marketing strategies that are still proven to be the best source to drive high traffic.
CONTENT
It is no surprise that content is an all-time king. Most marketers still root for the best content to include in their SEM strategy. Without good content, no consumer will stay for more than a few seconds, or worse, won’t be able to know about your existence. Even Google values quality and updated content, which is why about 40% of the marketers publish content at least once a week. To stay ahead or relevant, if some older content is making sense in the present light, you can update it and it’ll still be shown on the SERPs.
IMAGES
About 25-27% of Google’s searches have images in them. Updating images in your existing content, using them in your current ones or even creating your own will take you a long way in search engine marketing.
VIDEOS
Most of the Millenials and Gen Z consumers are 60% more likely to indulge in video search results or video searches. Videos are likely to drive more conversion rates by five times. Therefore, including videos in your marketing strategies will give you a better outcome.
Also, Backlinking, SEO & PPC are the ways to get ahead on the SERPs. Hence, keep your business marketing tactics at par with upgraded SEM strategy.
The Future Of SEM
With the technological advancements, SEM has also seen AI-based search as another tool to include in this strategy. The tool is voice search. With Google Assistant, Siri, Alexa, and more AI-based assistants to help us through, it is likely for more businesses to include such features in their content to drive more consumers.
Many digital marketers see content marketing and SEO as the most effective tools to drive new customers. However, SEM being in the light, and as per its services like sponsored links, paid search, PPC etc. it is not going anywhere and is here to stay for a very long time.
The businesses that kept their search engine marketing on going, shined through, and are moving on to be the highest star in the SEM universe. As most of the people are staying indoors & as 2020 marketing statistics showed, search engines have proven to be the light in the content world to learn, grow, and stay informed.

When last did you read, watch, interact with, listen to, or simply glance at something? Whenever you did that last, you most likely interacted with some form of Content Marketing (CM). This includes but isn’t limited to, an article, social media content, videos posted on any platform, and podcasts. CM surrounds us and is part of almost every tenet of our everyday lives. Therefore, as a brand, one must understand how to use it and as a consumer, one must be aware of how it influences you.
What is Content Marketing?
Content Marketing (CM) is yet another part of the Digital Marketing field, potentially one of the most important parts, one may say. CM has a variety of definitions, however, the essence of content marketing can be captured in the following sentence: The continuous process of strategically creating quality content and using it to deliver a message, or a variety of messages on behalf of a brand, for the audience to find relevant, consume, and share.
Marketing is a vast and endless field, content marketing has been a natural element since the beginning. However, understanding its role and influence in the field and on the brands that use it has been a more recent development, which brings us to focus on its optimization and growth. To fully understand how it can help your brand, it is imperative to first actually understand what it actually contributes to you.
What can it do for you?
There is a range of benefits to content marketing. As a brand, CM is like your one-stop shop for all things beneficial. With something for everything, CM takes on multiple forms to suit your needs and the interests of your audience. Be it monetary gain, a wider range of audience or something as simple as being reachable and relatable, social media and all other online platforms are the best way to go. However, to appease the traditional marketer, below are the benefits of CM:
Increased Leads and Conversions:
With the wide range and uncomparable accessibility provided by the digital world, CM finds its home in the comfort of multiple, varying platforms. This allows access to a plethora of consumers from varying demographic groups, leading to an increase in engagement as well as conversions.
Higher Returns on Lower Investments:
With CM and Digital Marketing, you have two options – to hire a professional agency or to hire professionals within your brand itself. Regardless of which option you choose, it will cost less than traditional and print marketing. The cost of a single hoarding can surpass the cost of running an advertisement on a platform such as Google and simultaneously increase your reach.
Mutually Beneficial Relationship with Audience:
Providing relatable and informative content helps establish a relationship with your audience. They find value in visiting your various online platforms and in interacting with your brand. Simultaneously, high engagement leads to high levels of sharing, leads, and conversions. All in all, benefitting both – your audience and your brand. This also helps increase customer loyalty, as your value-adding content leads them to believe that their growth and development is important to your brand, as it should be.

Convey your message as a story-teller, not a boring lecturer. Fables are more loved than lessons.
How you can use it to benefit your brand
As interesting and vast as CM is as a topic, it serves no purpose if you do not fully understand how to use it and make the most of it. To help you fully understand this, the following brief strategy tips for each of these commonly used platforms for CM should provide a clear picture.
One of the best way of Content Marketing: Blogging
Create new, exciting and relevant content
Blogs are the most widespread form of content marketing in today’s world. While that makes it an obvious and imperative addition to your CM strategy, it also makes it hard to stand apart. Thinking of unique topics, creating unique content and eventually producing a product like no other is neither easy nor realistic. The best you can do is to take inspiration from existing content and find a unique perspective on it. Make sure you give it an exciting spin, and always ensure relevance. If your content does not add information and reliance on the lives of your audience, it serves no purpose. Always check your facts, plagiarism, and make sure you stand apart.
Make it SEO-friendly
Writing SEO-friendly content is the first step towards a successful CM strategy. Always ensure you conduct the appropriate and required amounts of keyword research and follow strict guidelines when writing your content.
Keyword Stuffing and other Black Hat SEO practices can cost your brand a lot if detected. Blogs are the most effective platform for SEO and help your website gain visibility on Search Engine Result Pages (SERPs).
Promote your Blog
Use various platforms to promote your blog. Be it a clear tab on your website or sharing a post on various social media platforms, when you write a blog, use it. Not only will this help gain readers, but it will also make your social media feeds and profiles more attractive to your potential customers, employees, and business prospects.
A mailer announcing your newest blog and a short description with a link to your blog on Twitter and LinkedIn and an Instagram story; that in itself should create a buzz and curiosity amongst the audience.
LinkedIn Content Marketing:
Industry Relevant Content
Make your content extremely relevant and informative for professionals and amateurs within your industry. Creating content that helps brands grow is highly welcome on various platforms and even more so on a platform such as LinkedIn. With relevant content, not only do potential employees and business prospects see the range of your knowledge and ability, but it helps gain shareability and popularity among a range of professionals. This may be sharing relevant news articles, industry updates and trends, or articles and content created by others. Anything that influences those within your industry and can make your brand’s content feed is relevant.
Promote your Content
Be it short review articles, creative campaigns or articles from your blog, make sure to post content of your own as well. While industry-relevant content is a brilliant way to find yourself on the radar of juggernauts within your industry, it is not enough to establish your identity. Take the time out to scour through competitors’ content and understand what your audience would be interested in. Strategize, schedule, and create content that lives up to the standard. While the articles you share may be lengthy, remember to keep your captions and posts short and sweet. Attention spans on platforms with a constant influx of information can be very short. Make it catchy, important, and unskippable.
Grow your Network
LinkedIn is a professional, business and employment driven platform. As a brand on this platform, your main focus should be to establish an identity that spreads far and wide within the industry.
Connecting with brands and individuals who play a part in your industry is one of many extremely important steps towards using content marketing to grow your brand. With the help of the LinkedIn algorithm, it is easy to find people that fall within various industry umbrellas. Use the resources available to you as a brand and as an individual representing the brand, and make the most of these connections. The right connections can help with sharing and promoting the content you post.
Twitter Content Marketing:
Use Content to Connect
Unlike LinkedIn, Twitter is the platform behind every major trend and the start of the most important revolutions. This is where brands find their identity and build a loyal following for every other platform. As a brand, you have the opportunity to use the content you share and promote to make a lasting impact. Be it in the professional sphere or the social sphere, Twitter offers you the opportunity to make a major difference in the growth trajectory of your brand.
Use the content you share to connect with your audience’s ideas, thoughts and trends without losing track of your brand and industry. Put your best content with articles, blogs and news that’s relevant. Always remember to keep it short and sweet in your posts and captions on Twitter. 280 characters may be the limit, but you’d be better off keeping it far lesser than that.
Promote your content
All social media platforms, if effectively utilised can be the biggest step towards promotion of your own content. As mentioned above, Twitter is the platform that initiates the most change in the world and brings brands to the center of everyone’s attention.
While retweeting content produced by stars of your industry is good, make sure you utilise what Twitter has to offer. Share, promote and post your own content, be it a post to celebrate any occasion with your audience or a blog that helps them understand the best way to grow as a brand or an individual in your industry.
Create Twitter Lists
As a Twitter user, you can create Twitter Lists, which is a compilation of various categories of profiles you can use to find, compare with, and share relevant content. You can create multiple lists such as “Competitors”, “Industry Leaders”, “Industry Updates”, so on and so forth to always stay updated and relevant.
This helps filter out the content you see when you visit a list. It helps you stay at the top of your game, see what you can produce to keep up with your competitors and leaders and helps you keep tabs on your industry.
Instagram: Content marketing
Carefully craft creatives
Instagram is a visually focused platform and your brand should embrace that in the best way. Create images, graphics, gifs, videos and other posts that make your audience pause their scrolling and read your content. While it is generally advised to keep your captions short and create convincing and engaging post copies, it is also okay to provide a little detail in your captions. Uniqueness, creativity and the ability to hone and appreciate a trend with your content are crucial factors for making an impact on Instagram. Use the right hashtags, follow the right pages and tags and keep your head above water when it comes to the constant,
Use IGTV
Instagram TV, more commonly referred to as IGTV, is a standalone app created by Instagram itself that focuses mostly on video content. Ideal for businesses, brands and influencers, this platform presents a brilliant opportunity to create and distribute video content. With these videos being available on the original Instagram app as well, people and brands have been using it to connect with their followers and other wider audiences in the ‘Explore’ section. Creating reaction videos, tutorials, prank and challenge videos, IGTV has taken the visual content and digital marketing world by storm. Use this to your advantage. Be it live videos with people from within your company, are well-created animation videos with a clear message, make your impact now.
Use Insta Stories
Instagram Stories are uploads that stay at the top of our feeds for 24 hours. These can be images or videos and last for a maximum of 15 seconds. However, Instagram has made it possible for business profiles to use these stories to link anything they wish to promote to their followers and anyone else that views their story. With the ‘Swipe Up’ feature, you can link your new articles, blogs, or even your website and products to make it easy and accessible for your followers. Make sure the image/video that you use to link out is engaging, attractive, and intrigues those who view it. Always focus on what your audience would like to see, and what about the content you are offering them is attractive and engaging, or you may receive views but lose out on conversions.
YouTube: Content marketing
Create Diverse Content
Youtube is a limitless abyss of content and information. With absolutely no end to the kind of content available on this platform, standing apart, being noticeable, and bringing something new to the table is difficult, to say the least. Therefore, when creating videos for this mammoth platform, make sure you create a range of diverse content for varying audiences.
Youtube is used by people of all demographics and if you want to make a lasting impact, you will use that to your benefit in the best possible way. Your channel should be equipped with informative, helpful and creative content, so your followers know where to be when they want good content within your field. If you take your blogs and turn them into talks, record videos with your employees, make yourself a human and interactive platform, you’ll be the next big thing in your field.
Link it to your website
Use this platform to create brand awareness and awareness about all your other platforms, particularly your website. Using videos on your website has been highly beneficial in giving visitors a reason to stay. Make your Youtube videos visible on the website and make your website available on your Youtube videos. Provide your audience with the opportunity to explore your company further, maybe even visit your blog and see what more you have to offer. Ensure that you do not compromise on the quality of your website, your blog, and most definitely do not compromise on the quality of your videos. Creating a lasting impact in today’s world is difficult but can be done; ensure that you do your research and make the effort to do so.
Conclusion
Content Marketing is one of the oldest fields and yet one of the youngest in the world of marketing. Grabbing onto this opportunity while you can and making an impact, is easy in the digital world. So, what is stopping you?
Refer to major digital marketing agencies and communication companies and see what they have to offer in terms of information and guidance for the growth of your brand. Seize the day, Carpe Diem, take the chance while you can, and in due time you will be the brand people refer to when learning to grow effectively.

How Do Hashtags Work | How to Use Hashtags : A Simple & Quick GuideMoshi MoshiMoshi Moshihttps://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/ac4c132f340a1c08106672a42225886f?s=96&d=mm&r=g
Hashtags are used to categorize social media content into easily navigable lists. Whatever social media channels your company utilizes as a part of its social media campaign, learning how to hashtag can help improve your brand’s contribution to social media. This article brings out the fundamentals of using social media hashtags successfully, how do hashtags work, and why you should use them.
What is a Hashtag?
A hashtag(#) is a content identifier. It lets those who are interested in a specific topic easily find content on the same subject.
Hashtags are often used on social media platforms. They rocketed to fame on Twitter. Twitter first introduced social media hashtags in 2007. However, you can even use hashtags on other social platforms, such as Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and Google+.
Basics of Hashtag
They usually start with #, but they won’t work if you use space, punctuation, or symbols.
Make sure the accounts are open to the public. Otherwise, any non-followers cannot see the hashtagged content you post.
Don’t put too many words together. The best hashtags tend to be fairly short and easy to remember.
Why Should I Use Hashtags?
1. Increased connection with your followers:
Using hashtags in the posts implies taking part in a discussion on the social media platform. And most significant of all, it makes your posts visible in the discussion.
This will contribute to greater interaction, increasing the brand’s social network participation by shares, likes, comments and new followers.
2. An opportunity to establish your brand:
Creating a branded hashtag can be an efficient way to promote your brand and engage with newer audiences who like the same type of content.
3. A way of conveying support for social concerns:
Using a hashtag that is related to a topic beyond your brand is a way to rally for a significant cause or issue. Like #climatechange #womenempowernment #mentalhealthawareness etc.
4. Add context to the posts on social media:
You don’t have a ton of space on Twitter to write a caption. You’ve got 280 words to be precise. Longer captions are not necessarily the most powerful on Instagram. The same thing for Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and some other platforms — sometimes less is better.
Using a hashtag can be an easy way to contextualize what you’re thinking about, without wasting valuable characters or making lengthy captions.
5. Help the target audience find you:
Users will follow hashtags as well as other accounts on Instagram and LinkedIn. Using a few common hashtags can be a great way to help new users discover your brand.
For example, if you use #adagency on your Instagram posts, anyone who follows the hashtag will see your recent post on their page. You may be able to attract some new followers this way.
How To Do Hashtags:
1. Track influencers and competitors in social media:
Start with a comparative evaluation of social media. Gather intel about your competitors and any important influencers within the niche of your brand.
Please note which hashtags they use most frequently and how many hashtags they use in each of their posts. This will help you understand how your competitors communicate with your shared target audience and what keywords they prefer to use.
2. Use of tools like AllHashtag
AllHashtag can help you find the best Twitter hashtags or Instagram hashtags for your brand. With this tool, you can check for any hashtag and see how popular it is.
3. Related Hashtags:
If you already have a clear understanding of which hashtags perform well for your brand, consider utilizing related hashtags. These might be a little more specific than the popular hashtags you’re already using, which might help you connect to a more targeted audience.
Instagram shows the related hashtags just above the “Top” and “Recent” tabs when in the Instagram Explore section.
4. Analyze which hashtags have been popular in past posts:
Keep note of every hashtag you used on past posts. Analyze which topics were the most successful, and see if there’s a theme in the hashtags you’ve used.
If you find that some of your most popular posts still include any of the same hashtags, make a point of using them in your future posts.
How To Do Hashtags On Every Platform:
Let’s find out quick, easy-to-read tips for using hashtags on various social media platforms.
1. Hashtags on Twitter:
The optimal number of hashtags to be used is 1-2
You can use hashtags anywhere on your Tweets. Using them to highlight a keyword at the beginning of the tweet, at the end of the background, or in the middle of your post for highlighting a keyword.
You can also add hashtags in your comments when you retweet, in your replies and in your Twitter bio.
You may also type the hashtagged keyword in the Twitter search bar to search the hashtagged content.
Find trending hashtags in Twitter’s trending topics. Technically, you can use as many hashtags as you want in a Tweet, under the 280 character limit. Yet Twitter advises that no more than two be included.
2. Hashtags on Facebook:
The optimal number of hashtags to be used: 3-4
Hashtags can be used in any part of the published Facebook post or comment.
Hashtags are often useful for grouping posts by theme or topic in private Facebook communities.
You may also check for a hashtag with the Facebook search bar.
Tap on the hashtag to discover Facebook posts using the same hashtag.
3. How To Hashtags Instagram:
The optimal number of hashtags to be used: 30 max.
Knowing how do hashtags work on Instagram is very essential, as a post with at least one Instagram hashtag receives 12.6 percent more engagement than a post without a hashtag. Include hashtags after publishing a great Instagram caption. You can also include hashtags in the comments section as you interact with your fans. You can use up to 30 hashtags in your Instagram posts. It is also possible to include hashtags in the Instagram Bio profile of your brand.
You can also search for hashtags in the Instagram Explore section.
Follow the hashtags. This means that the content of any creator will appear in your feed as long as it includes the hashtag that you follow. This is how to hashtag Instagram.
4. Hashtags on Youtube:
The optimal number of hashtags to be used: 2-3
Add a few hashtags to your brand’s YouTube video title or description.
Tap on the hyperlinked hashtag to see a list of other videos that use the same hashtag as well.
5. Hashtags on Linkedin:
The optimal number of hashtags to be used: 3-5
You can incorporate hashtags both in the published post to LinkedIn and in the LinkedIn article that you publish. Also, you can search for hashtags using the search bar of the platform.

What is Quora marketing and why marketers should be using Quora?
Quora is directed by the goal to share and grow the world’s knowledge online. Knowledge exists in a lot of places like books, podcasts, and everywhere on the Internet. It goes beyond hard truths and facts about the universe. let us check these Quora stats.
Quora connects people from various fields, from people who are experts in Artificial Intelligence and advanced machine learning to those who are seeking knowledge on the same topics. It works in a way that people find appropriate answers to their questions at the required time. The more you use the platform, the more Quora learns about your expertise; and notifies you with questions that you might be able to respond to. To increase your visibility on Quora, the focus should be on getting more upvotes and support for your responses. When you post answers immediately after the questions are posted, the audience is more likely to upvote your answer and engage with you.
Here are some of the most significant benefits of using Quora for business and marketing strategy:
1. Position yourself as a leader in your industry: Quora for Business
This social media platform is a way to increase your credibility and position yourself as a leader in your respective industry. It doesn’t matter if you’re the CEO or a school student writing from your mom’s basement; you can still position yourself as a thought leader on Quora. All you have to do is provide the best answers, seek relevant questions and maintain a good profile.
The topics on this platform range from shopping, cooking, advertising to various other subject matters. The users who answer these questions are often the subject experts.
Quora is a go-to source for people looking for questions to be answered by experts. So, if you can provide insightful and relevant answers, users will start following you for your expertise and thus leading to an increased number of followers.
2. Drive high-quality traffic with Quora
You should avoid being a salesman on Quora, instead use it as an educational opportunity to provide valuable information about your market or industry. This helps increase traffic to your website, which ultimately helps in increasing brand awareness. When an audience finds your answer helpful, they usually end up clicking the link to learn more about your company. But, posting direct links to your website like ‘Click on this link to find the answer’, ‘Get an answer on my website How do I use Quora for my business?’, ‘Read my blog __’ in your responses is the most disliked medium of promotion. These kinds of answers will get you little to no website traffic from Quora. Here’s an example of a spam answer:
The answer was collapsed and the user was marked spam by the Quora privacy and policy team. The correct method of driving traffic to the website is by writing helpful, sincere answers, and then sharing links at the end of the answers. Once you start writing good answers, Quorans will be convinced about your credentials and your knowledge of those particular sectors. You can mention your link in the following ways, ‘I provide similar Branding advice at ____’ or ‘I provide similar views at __’. This will make 8 out of 10 readers visit your site for further information.
Here’s the right method to get Quora traffic:
Write an insightful and well-researched answer.
The answers will establish your authority as an expert on those subjects.
Paste your link at the end of the answer
Again, don’t do a lot of self-promotion. Quorans hate self-promotion and you might end up receiving downvotes.
3. Quora for Content Marketing
Quora is an incredible tool for valuable content marketing. Quora provides exposure to your blogs by distributing and amplifying the content that is indexed by Google. Unlike Social media posts, your posts on Quora can appear even after 20 years from now. You can take 100-200 word snippets of the content from your website and direct readers to visit your site by adding ‘visit our blog to get more information’ or you can write an original response to the questions. But, if you’re reusing the existing content, don’t forget to add quotation marks or brackets. That helps Quora’s machine learning system in identifying the originality of the answers, which would otherwise be flagged or removed. Quora is a great platform to learn and understand your audience. Content marketing Quora will help you understand your target audience better and the type of questions they ask and what content you can come up with that can be of use to them. Also, it is the perfect place for content research. You can find all the relevant streaming questions and topics, by entering the keywords in the search bar.
4. Search Visibility
Quora questions are searchable through search engines like Google. The content you post here remains evergreen, taking people back to your website whenever that particular topic trends. A large number of sites now are sourcing content from Quora. Moreover, you can earn mentions in other publications as well. Your reach with the help of quora can go beyond the website’s user base. Let’s take the example of Forbes.com, the search for ‘forbes.com’ shows a large number of posts that appeared on site.
5. Increase your reach with Quora Ads
Once you are well established and have gained credibility on Quora, you should start promoting your answers. You have the option to boost your answers for a certain amount of fee and set ad perimeters around it. For example, you can promote a customer review of your brand and any other great answer about your services. Promoting your answers on Quora is a good move to increase your company or your reach.
To start with Quora ads, you need to set up an ads account just as you would do it for Facebook to boost a post. You will have to define the target budget and promotion period. You can also define a target audience and location as per your requirement. There are different kinds of targeting that Quora offer. You can run contextual-based advertising placements that target everyone who has shown an interest in specific topics. There is also behavioral targeting based on what Quorans have engaged within their past activities, and targeting based on keywords. Also, note that the advertisers cannot target the keyword in answers, but only in questions. When an answer is promoted, the question along with it also gets highlighted. The question and answer appear in a pair as a native post in the feeds of the users. The only thing that makes it different is that it will be tagged as “sponsored” along with the name of the brand or company. Promoting answers is not only one type of ad that Quora offers, but advertisers can also create text and image ads.

5 SEO Link Building Strategies – Step by Step Guide 2020Moshi MoshiMoshi Moshihttps://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/ac4c132f340a1c08106672a42225886f?s=96&d=mm&r=g
In the past years, link building strategies were based on links quantity and not quality.
But today, Link building is a totally different game. Links are still very crucial to Google. It is practically impossible for Google to decide the value of any page if there are no links to it — regardless of how helpful, new, or in-depth the page content may be. Link building comes under Off-page SEO. Let’s understand this in detail.
Off-page SEO caters to the activities that are done away from your website to get it ranked in the Search Engine Result Pages (SERPs). Though many people relate off-page SEO with link building, it goes way beyond that. Off-page SEO is not only about the links, it simply tells Google what others think about your website. For instance, if your website pages have a lot of valuable links then search engines will assume that your website has got great content, that adds value to the user; otherwise, no one will link to it.
Your search engine rankings majorly depend on the pages where you build links, especially the authority and the quality of those pages. Content still plays a major role; consistently blogging leads to an increase in your inbound links by 97%. Besides blogging, there are also other proven ways to build high-quality links and securing the highest position in the search engines.
SEO experts say guest-posting content strategy is the most effective way to grow a website’s backlink portfolio, according to the research from SEMrush.
In this blog, we will discuss 5 link building strategies that will help you get good results in 2020.
Let’s start with the first and the best SEO link building strategy that is Guest Posting.
Strategy #1:Guest Posting
Guest posting is one of the oldest link building strategies; in which you write and publish an article for some other website in your niche. You can also link your page to that article. Follow these steps to start with the Guest Posting:
Step 1: Find Guest Post Targets
The first step is to find a website to guest post on. I am listing out some techniques to find guest posting websites.
Technique1 – Google Search Strings
Where you have to write your “Keyword” + “write for us” search string and search for it, you’ll get a lot of websites from which you have to manually check each website you can guest post on. Here are some examples which are generally used to find out sites:
Keyword “guest post”
Keyword ”write for us”
Keyword “submit article”
Keyword “guest post opportunities”
Keyword “submit post”
Keyword “submit content”
Technique 2 – Google Reverse Image Search
Find someone who writes a lot of guest posts in your niche, right-clicks on their image, and click on the copy image address.
Take the URL and search it on Google, and you will get a list of websites they have guest posted on.
Technique 3 – Twitter Search
Twitter is a goldmine in terms of guest posting. It genuinely helps to find high-quality guest posting sites. Here is the trick to find websites to guest post on, through twitter. The twitter results are much fresher than even Google’s index, which means you can get websites that are actively on the hunt for guest posts.
First, go to twitter and search for basic guest post search strings like “[your keyword]” guest post.
Then, look at the results to find guest posting targets.
Step 2: Ready your Guest Post
Now, list out the websites that accept guest posts and shortlist the websites that are a good fit for your guest post.
Have a significant amount of social media followers
Step 3: Send your pitch
Create an effective pitch that can help you get your post published easily on different websites. Given below are some tips to make your pitch effective.
Start your pitch with something specific about their site
The pitch should be short and simple (< 150 words)
Give them at least 3 topics to choose from
Soft sell them your content
In the end, mention your experience & published work
Step 4: Write your Guest Post
When the blogger has accepted your pitch, you have to give them something really valuable.
Long articles give much more value than short posts, the length should be at least 2500 words.
Include a lot of screenshots & other visuals
Add some internal links as it is great for SEO
Step 5: Follow up
Don’t just post & leave it, actively respond to all the comments within the first 48 hours.
Always promote your guest post on social media platforms.
Send a thank-you note, it keeps the lines open for the next time when you want to guest post on their website.
Blog comment bonanza – reach out to the people who have commented on your post and ask them to publish your post on their website.
Strategy #2:Competitors link:
You may find that your competitors are getting links from major news sources. When you find that your competitors are positioning higher than you in the search engine, they may be on the path of success. You can be there, as well. There is nothing as incredible as keeping an eye on your competitors to know where their links are coming from. The process of keeping an eye on your competitors is called “competitive analysis”. Here, you figure out what keywords they are ranking for, where their best links are coming from and what they are doing as of now that encourages them to succeed. So how to check your competitor’s backlinks? Follow these steps:
Step 1: Identify your major competitors
You can easily find your competitors in search engines, But just to be sure about it you can use ‘ahref’ tool to find out your major competitors. Log in with the tool, then click on the site explorer tab, put your main keyword in the search bar, and search for it. Scroll down and you will see the web pages which are currently ranking in the Google organic search results.
Step 2: Find all the backlinks of your competitor and export the file
In the left corner under the backlink profile, click on “backlinks”. You will see all the backlinks that are linked to your competitor’s homepage. Now, select one link per domain and add a dofollow filter and then export the file.
Step 3: Visit every website manually and make links on the websites having high DA with less spam score.
Strategy #3:Broken Link Building
Most of the websites have 100’s or 1000’s of links, where some link internally and some externally. For some reason, these links can easily break and stop working. Most site admins don’t even realize this when it occurs and it can break their client experience, reputation and SEO. Broken link building is the white hat SEO technique to get the right kind of links. Finding broken links can be a superb opportunity for you to:
Build a relationship with the site owner
Increase the value to them
What’s more, above all, get a high-quality link
Broken link building is the SEO link building strategy used by Nikolay Stoyanov, to get 15 connections in 1 day with a 15% conversion rate. It truly is one of the most underutilized third party link building strategies. Here are the steps to do it:
Here are the steps to do it-
Step 1: Find out broken links of your competitors
Log in to ‘ahref’ and then click on site explorer, enter your competitor’s domain and search for it. On the left corner, under the backlink profile click on broken links then you’ll see a list of broken links of your competitors.
Step 2: Find a relevant broken link on a website
Visit each link and find out the best relevant broken link which we can replace with our link easily.
Step 3: Now, we have to create similar content to the broken resource
Analyze the competitor’s content and create a similar kind of content that can easily be accepted by the website admin.
Step 4: The final step
Ask the website owner to replace the broken link of your competitor with your link.
Strategy #4:Outreach
Outreach link building is the most common type of SEO link building strategy, which is widely used nowadays. In this, you have to reach out to the people in your niche in order to introduce your content to them. The main objective of outreach is to convince those who have a large targeted audience to provide a link to your website and to talk about your content or product.
Outreach is extremely important for every business. There are two approaches in outreach:
The Sniper Approach: Advocates of the sniper approach select their “targets” carefully and send highly-customized outreach emails to each one of them. They consider that effective outreach is all about providing some kind of value to a relatively small list of targeted prospects and expecting something positive in return.
The Shotgun Approach: Under this approach, the advocate sends the outreach emails to the broader list of targets without investing much time in personalizing those emails. For them effective outreach is all about scale, the more you send emails the more you will get the links.
Steps to do outreach:
Step 1:First your prospect
You should not send an outreach email to simply anyone. You have to do your research to figure out which organization, blogger, or master’s webpage your content fits in with.
Step 2: Find the right contact details
This is the genuine bottleneck with regard to executing blogger outreach at a scale. Discovering email addresses is time-consuming, tricky, and tedious; at least, if you care about finding the correct contact details.
Step 3: Craft your pitch
Most of the outreach guides will tell you to come up with a template for your campaign which looks similar to this:
Hello %First_Name%,
I just went over your article: %URL_of_their_article%
Extraordinary stuff!
I saw that you linked to this post: %URL_where_they_link_to%
It’s an extraordinary post, yet I composed a far superior article on that same subject.
Look at it here: %URL_of_my_article%
I trust you can add a link to my post in your article or if nothing else tweet it.
Thanks!
Here are some tips to create a pitch-
Always evoke curiosity with your subject line
Pretend like you know them already
Try to avoid fake flattery
Explain your purpose of getting connected with that person
At the end add CTA (Call to action button)
And always use your best work
Step 4: Follow up
Regardless of whether you’ve heard from the recipient or not, you need to follow up. Permit 3-4 days before initiating a follow-up email. The recipient may be occupied and read your email, however needs a couple of days to reply. At this point, you have to send a follow-up email and point back to the original pitch but tweak the message accordingly while still demonstrating your value.
Hold up an additional couple of days after sending a follow-up email. After following up twice, if you still don’t get a response then it is an ideal opportunity to proceed ahead. You can still contact this person later on but wait for a few months. Each follow-up email should be professional and polite, no matter how disappointed you are.
Step 5: Track your campaign
All email outreach campaigns need to be tracked carefully. It’s the most ideal approach to measure your response rates and see which companies are outwardly saying “no” to your pitch and which ones are showing interest.
Strategy #5:Link Roundups “seo” + “link roundup”
A link roundup is basically a blog post that highlights links to other blog posts. Usually, you will find them on a weekly or monthly basis and they are themed around a topic related to the blog that’s facilitating it. You can discover them in virtually any niche, too.
The thought behind it is to share content with your readers from different sources, which is our main motive when we are curating content for our social media channels. Follow these steps for link roundup:
Step 1: Finding out the right link roundup to jump in
You have to participate consistently but you do not need to do link roundup for every blog you publish. Let’s keep it for the best blogs. Now, start searching on Google:
Niche + link roundup
Niche + best-of roundup
Niche + link up
By searching for these phrases, you will find a good number of places to start with. But, there are also different ways to try like “best of”, “Tuesday link up” (where you can submit on any day of the week), and so on.
Go to Google & search for “seo” + “link roundup” to find link roundups on SEO, same way you can change the first keyword which is “SEO” & replace with your niche. If it’s social media marketing then “Social media marketing” + “link roundup”, the same way “PPC” + “link roundup” for PPC related link roundups.
By searching these phrases you’ll find a good number of places to start with, but there are also different ways to try, like “best of” “Tuesday link up” (where you can submit on any day of the week), and so on.
Step 2: Getting featured in roundups
There is no mystery magic formula for getting featured in a link roundup. It helps you build a relationship with the host blogger, but if you don’t, that is not a reason to give up. First, you need absolutely stellar content. If the content is the same as the regular old stuff that is out there or does not provide any value, you can not expect that anybody will really mention it.
When you connect with different bloggers, you establish genuine relationships with them. One of the best approaches to remain off their radar is to approach them and inquire as to whether they would mind mentioning your posts. Some bloggers set up their own roundups of what they find fascinating. So, to expand your odds of getting featured, ensure you are consistently doing your absolute best and trying to promote your work.
If you find a roundup where it is possible to include the link yourself, you can generally do that. You will get the backlink to your site, if nothing else.
Step 3: Publishing your own link roundups
If you need to generate more traffic to your website, think about publishing your own link roundup. In case, you are generally referring to other blogs in yours, it can pay off enormously. It may not make sense to connect to other blogs and expect it to bring traffic back to your site, but it can and it frequently does.
There is a decent possibility that the bloggers you link out will stop by your post and leave a comment to thank you. At that point, they will likely share it with their own crowd since it helps them to show they were featured somewhere else; and thus get more traffic and exposure. They will know who you are, which means building relationships and networking. Also, they may start to include your blog posts in their own roundups; thus bringing you much more traffic and exposure, and a completely new audience.
Final thoughts:
The link profile of your site is vital in determining the rank on search engine results. Google does not care how many links you have linked to your pages, but it is concerned with the experience you create for your users.

9 Digital Marketing Trends to Fulfill Your Wishes in 2020Moshi MoshiMoshi Moshihttps://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/ac4c132f340a1c08106672a42225886f?s=96&d=mm&r=g
In today’s marketing world, businesses are taking the digital marketing route more than the traditional approach. Digital marketing is the most researched topic on Quora as well.
With every business considering digital marketing, it is essential to explore great strategies that will help you capture a larger audience. We have listed below 9 digital marketing trends that will help you be at par or ahead of your competitors.
1. Shoppable Posts
In 2019, Instagram launched shoppable posts and it is gaining a lot of attention ever since. It allows users to buy products directly through social media posts or ads, making it a seamless experience for the user. Studies show that around 54% of people on social media purchase products based on their research based on shoppable posts. This feature eases your transaction process, without needing to be an e-commerce selling platform. You can also create shopping posts on Facebook and Pinterest.
2. Optimizing Voice Search
When you ask Google ‘what are the digital marketing trends in 2020′ and Google displays this blog in the search results. Similarly, if you manage a salon and publish a blog on ‘tips to de-tan’ your skin’, then your blog will be displayed in the search results when someone does a voice search on the same. This helps generate traffic to your website and thus increase footfalls in the salon.
This is possible by optimizing your website for voice search. Voice search is a voice recognition technology that allows people to search directly by speaking to their devices like Alexa, Google Home, Google Assistant, or Siri. With voice search becoming popular and google’s mobile-first indexing algorithm, businesses need to optimize their voice search feature. It is also necessary to have a local Schema SEO and ensure that your google “My business” profile is updated.
3. Structured Data
According to a study conducted by Path Interactive, 40% of the audience aged between 13 and 18 get rich snippet results. Your website gains more clicks by getting featured on the top of the SERP along with the right information, ratings, etc.
Google shows rich snippets if you add structured data to your site which is a piece of code. Search engines read the particular code to create rich snippets. There are plugins available to create the code without prior coding knowledge.
4. Using Alternate Communication Channels
In 2020, we should leverage more communication channels like Chatbots and Facebook Messenger. We can customize the FAQs on the messenger and a user can select the question they want to ask. Based on the questions, the answers can either be automated or written. This creates a good impression on the customers and we can create engagement to reduce the bounce rates.
The other forms of alternate channels in online marketing are Quora and Reddit, which also not only gives the right information to the audience but also helps you establish your brand identity.
5. Video Marketing
Research shows that 72% of organizations state that videos have improved their conversion rates. Videos are the most popular way to connect with your customers and tell them about your new products. It is not only restricted to YouTube but also includes videos on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
In fact, if your site contains videos it is highly likely that Google will rank your website higher since people find videos more appealing. This in turn will drive organic traffic to your website. Nowadays, Live videos have also garnered a lot of popularity and organizations showcase their new products or behind the scenes footage.
6. Making Interactive Content
Interactive content is all about building user engagements and strengthening the connections. This can be done in multiple ways like making the user participate in a poll or creating augmented reality ads/interface or embedded calculators, which help you calculate the amount to be spent to reach your goals. Interactive content captivates the audience and accelerates your conversions. Real Estate firms use this for a virtual tour of their properties that are on sale.
7. User-Generated Content
Individuals trust other individuals unquestionably, more than they trust the organizations. User-generated content (UGC) is a powerful asset for organizations that want to target the Millennial and Gen Z. You can motivate your crowd to share one of a kind post by enticing them to fight for a cause, creating challenges like ice bucket challenge, or offering them a prize. It can also be in the form of reviews or blogs or videos by the user.
8. Influencer Marketing
Influencer marketing utilizes key personalities to propagate your brand’s identity. Influencers are mostly individuals with a huge following and fan base on their social media accounts. They help promote your services and offerings amongst the crowd through social media channels.
63% of customers trust influencers’ assessments of items, considerably more than what brands state about themselves. Influencer advertising is likewise going to be influenced by AI, and ease the process of finding the relevant influencers to connect with. It distinguishes influencers with better commitment, less phony supporters, and a higher possibility of creating a positive degree of profitability (ROI).
9. Smart Bidding
Smart bidding is a feature available in Google Ads that use machine learning to optimize your bids to maximize conversions across the campaign. This is an AI-driven feature to help you get the desired results based on your audiences’ behavior. Currently, there are 6 types of automated bidding strategies:
Enhanced Cost Per Click (eCPC):
It naturally adjusts your bids depending upon its estimation of conversions. It’s an upgraded automated version of manual CPC (where you manually increase or decrease the bids)
Maximize Conversions:
As the name suggests, it tries to maximize the conversions (goals) without considering cost per click, but within the campaign budget.
Target Cost Per Acquisition (CPA)
In this bid strategy, you set a cost per acquisition, and it sets the bids accordingly to get as many conversions within that CPA. It has no target on the volume of conversions.
Target ROAS:
It automatically adjusts your bids to generate as much revenue as possible within your target.
Maximum conversions:
It automatically sets bids to get maximum conversions within a specified budget.
Maximum conversion value:
Here, you can assign a value for conversion goals like sales revenue or profit margin. It then automatically adjusts the bids to ensure that the conversion goal is achieved within your campaign budget.
Target Impression Share:
This helps to set bids automatically based on ads displayed at the absolute top of the page, anywhere on the top section, or anywhere in the search result page.
By using these digital marketing trends, you can grow your business and achieve a larger audience.
